The Banyan Tree is looking for a Retail Sales manager and enthusiastic leader

To earn this job, you will have to prove you can fulfil the following responsibilities:
The Banyan Tree aims to be a leading furniture designer. The business was established in 1990 and is looking for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to grow the retail side of its business. The Banyan Tree showroom is widely regarded within the industry as having a unique look and feel and the owners of the business are looking to expand this concept.

You will need to have extensive retail experience and be able to recruit, train and lead a team, and have exceptional customer service skills. You need to understand the store’ s P & L and use and analyse financial information to maintain and improve profitability and retail standards within the showroom.

You will need to be an energetic enthusiastic leader who is excited about working within our range brands and building a unique Australian retail concept.

The role would suit an experienced retail sales professional with a good understanding of the design industry. It would suit someone who is interested in building a retail sales team and who is highly experienced in their ongoing management. A passion for design is essential as is the ability to work within a team as your role will interact with other arms of the business such as production, product development and the commercial sales team. Experience in managing an online store would also be desirable. Your role will work closely with the directors of the business.

Receptionist/Bookkeeper - Head Office, Braeside VIC 3195

A part-time position, which could for the right person lead to fulltime employment, is available for a "Bookkeeper/Receptionist" within the furniture industry. Located in Braeside, at our Head Office you would be responsible for moniroting of accounts payable and recievable on two retail stores and our national wholesale business.
